Country music is at the core of Jim’s heart. He has always been country in so many ways from little on. As a kid, it was everyday fun playing in the fields, the ponds, creeks and barns. 

Years later, he is still true to his heart and in his wheel house when singing with that same American country style feel good. Since a child, he enjoys and respects a solid blend of diverse musical styles from country, bluegrass, rock and blues.
He has been inspired by myriad of respectable top names in entertainment from old to new such as- Waylon, Dierks,
Little Big Town, Paycheck, Merle, Jones, Strait and so many more. 

“Jim Gaff”  aka “Big Jim Gaff” is a singer/songwriter, recording artist and fine artist/designer writes his original music through his own life experiences and creativeness. He draws from all aspects of life and reflects that in his music. Jim' s lyrics, blended with his memorable melodies, offer the listener an eclectic blend of new and old country-based music. 

To compliment Jim’s main country vocals, he enjoys playing and entertaining on stage with multiple instruments like guitar, dobro, banjo, fiddle, keyboards and harmonica. A multi-instrument playing musician coupled with his experience as Veteran Firefighter for 15 years, it’s no wonder Jim loves the high energy and thrill to perform. Whether it be one of his many trips to Nashville, or a Wisconsin hotspot, he’s been on many stages performing with the same energy and passion. 

Jim sings with a country grass roots style to the likes of - Waylon, Jones and Haggard. He can then shift gears, turn up the heat and respond with a gravelly, punchy, high impact country vocal sound. 

If not on a stage kickin' it up or in the recording studio, you will probably catch Jim in his boat fishing or out in the woods in a tree stand.
